Natural High Bucharest 
 

Overview 

Natural High Bucharest is a modern indoor climbing gym, opened in 2023, and designed by Usteto. The gym offers everything a climber needs, including lead/top rope walls and two levels of bouldering sections walls, making it a destination for climbers of all levels. The lead/top rope wall reaches a height of 10 meters, suitable  for both beginners and advanced climbers. The bouldering area is spread across two levels: one on the ground floor and another on a specially built mezzanine, also designed by Usteto. With varied shapes and angles, the bouldering sections encourage creativity in route setting. The gym also features a dedicated training area. 

Design Concept 

Covering 800 sq. m., Natural High Bucharest combines functionality with innovation. The two level bouldering area, which includes a custom-built mezzanine, adds depth to the climbing experience and offers more space for creative route setting. Usteto’s focus was on creating a space that caters to climbers of all abilities, with a lead wall that’s perfect for both training and recreational climbing. The dedicated training climbing section allows climbers to improve their skills. 

Construction Process 

Usteto executed the project with precision and care, ensuring that every detail met the highest standards. The lead wall and bouldering areas were built using top-quality materials, focusing on safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. The mezzanine level required detailed engineering, and its integration into the gym’s design created a unique and functional climbing space.
