Cal Penjat - Tarrega 

Overview:  

Introducing Cal Penjat, a premier bouldering gym in Tarrega, Spain, that opened its doors in 2024. Designed to cater to climbers of all ages and skill levels, Cal Penjat offers comprehensive indoor climbing experience. The facility features dedicated sections for commercial and competition climbing, a kids' area, and a dedicated training area, making it the ultimate destination for climbing enthusiasts.  

Design Concept:  

Cal Penjat’s bouldering section is crafted to meet contemporary route-setting trends, with boulder walls standing 4.5 meters high from mat level. This area provides climbers with a variety of shapes and angles, ensuring a dynamic and challenging experience. The kids' area, with a height of 2.6 meters from mat level, is designed to introduce the youngest climbers to the sport in a safe and encouraging environment. Additionally, the training area is equipped with a moonboard, campus board, and a surface for spraywall, offering all the tools necessary for climbers looking to improve their skills.  

Construction Process:  

Collaborating closely with Klauer Climbing Services, we oversaw every detail of Cal Penjat's construction, ensuring that the gym meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and design. From the initial concept through to completion, the construction process was meticulously managed to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that caters to a diverse climbing community.
